With the dry & hot weather conditions, this is not a year to skimp on or overlook the recommended adjuvants for POST-emergence herbicide applications.

Stressed weeds are more difficult to control. Proper adjuvants can enhance herbicide activity.

From 2018-2021, the average price of corn was $5.94 in Ontario (OMAFRA). If weeds are up to 2, 4, 6, and 8 inches in height at time of postemergence herbicide application the loss in $/acre was $30, 104, 181, and 241, respectively. Corn is very sensitive to weed interference.
