We continue to push for preventions, treatments/cure, assistance for those in need & change in policies.

This week of the year basically feels like you're in an airport - eat & drink whatever you want, wear whatever you want & nap when you can, anything goes basically.
I used to think being chronically ill was something you could eventually get used to by means of management and a little societal support.
I never imagined I could be so wrong. #MECFS#LongCovid
If theres one thing that having Long Covid has taught me:
Health really is the only thing that matters.
I've spent hours fantasizing how I'd give all I own - my work, my money, my age in a heartbeat just to be 100% healthy.
All the other stuff seems so unimportant.
15/15 is Long Covid Awareness Hour
While the emergency phase of the pandemic has ended, #COVID_19 & its risks is far from over.
The world is moving on, but for millions of us the pandemic is still very real. Please share & support our fight for proper care

Just a few Friday reminders.
1. Being young doesn't always make you able.
2. Being old doesn't always make you disabled.
3. Disability is not a competition.
4. Never assume you know someone's medical history by looking at them.
5. Anyone can become disabled at ANY time
I can't explain the feeling you get with a #chronicillness when Dr's seem ok with blood test results or they are within range, yet you don't feel any benefit of the tablets you've been taking. Such a divide to get fine results but still feel as rough as you do, without answers.
π 3 years ago attempting a return to work after a long time off & a year after catching Covid. It didn't work out and I'm still so heartbroken to be honest, I can't hide that. It's been 4 years too long being ill. #LongCovid#chronicillness#whendowegetbetter#Imissmyjob
