Once you get a graduate degree you stop saying things like “when I was in college” or “where I went to college” you involuntarily start saying “when I was in undergrad” and it feels like this. It’s not perceived like this though it’s perceived as being a massive douche.
Honestly, I long for the day again when I can wake in the morning and not have to brace myself from some new horror committed by a man and his regime who are feeding themselves on the ruins of public liberty.

this is the kind of thing that overwhelms me to think about. what happens to a person's car when they're abducted? what if it's stolen? if you're detained for months on end, what happens to your house? and when you're released because it was a mistake, who picks up the pieces?
