I want to take a moment to thank @vmprivott . My former principal...she was actually more than that to me and many others placed in her care as a leader, mentor, disciplinarian with the most wittest humor 🤣
A thread of what life has become after leaving the USA.
Those who don't know, I came to the States all thanks to @ParticipateLrng . I was placed at @LRESLions . Taught there and placed in the lovely leadership of @vmprivott@TheAffableAvery

Weekends fly by and "Sunday scaries" are real-- We've all been there. Affirmations can help us get present, get pumped, and stay calm and confident for the week ahead 👏
Some pre-Monday affirmations to try ⬇️
Leadership requires courage to serve the best interest of your community (students, families, teachers, staff), even when it's unpopular or difficult.
Stay tethered to your values and vision as you advocate for what you believe in.
Today's message inspired by Bryan Stevenson⬇️
Self-care isn't just about a bubble bath or a glass of wine (though you deserve those too).
Real self-care right now looks like:
- Boundaries.
- Removing work email from your phone.
- "No"
- Asking for what you need.
- Self-compassion.
- Less, not more.
What else?
