@DxRxEdu @rabihmgeha 🙏🙏 In general, this has helped me simplify and focus on solvable puzzle pieces during complex clinical situations. But I've also been in situations where everything must be addressed on Day 1.
What they don’t teach you in school:
1 how to accept a compliment
2 how to manage sudden loss and grief
3 how to be found by mentors and sponsors
4 how to talk less, but say more
5 how to give feedback without causing resentment
6 how to unlearn, relearn and change yourself
As I got older, I realized:
1 lost money can be found; lost time is lost forever
2 learning to learn, and changing yourself is a superpower
3 you are not your job
4 networking is about giving
5 best teacher is your last mistake
6 good manners as important as good education
The goal of teaching should not be to help the students learn how to memorize and spit out information under academic pressure. 🧠
The purpose of teaching is to inspire the desire for learning in them and make them able to think, understand, and question.
We watch in complete shock as Taliban takes control of Afghanistan. I am deeply worried about women, minorities and human rights advocates. Global, regional and local powers must call for an immediate ceasefire, provide urgent humanitarian aid and protect refugees and civilians.
🚨I wrote a big piece about how Delta affects the pandemic endgame.
