Be not afraid of anything. You will do marvellous work. The moment you fear, you are nobody. It is fear that is the great cause of misery in the world. #RamkrishnaParamahamsa
Keep on remembering: I am neither the mind nor its ideas; do it patiently and with conviction and you will surely come to the direct vision of yourself as the source of being — knowing — loving, eternal, all-embracing all-pervading.
There are no steps to self-realization. There is nothing gradual about it. It happens suddenly and is irreversible. You rotate into a new dimension, seen from which the previous ones are mere abstractions.
Become conscious of being conscious. Say or think “I am”, and add nothing to it. Be aware of the stillness that follows the “I am”. Sense your presence, the naked unveiled, unclothed beingness.
Ramana Maharshi
You think your thoughts are entirely your own; but in reality they are not. All thoughts arise from the collective consciousness. We think that these thoughts are suggested to us, but, in fact, thoughts are revealed from consciousness.
Nisargadatta
Realize yourself as the ocean of consciousness in which all happens. This is not difficult. A little of attentiveness, of close observation of oneself, and you will see that no event is outside your consciousness.
There is a powerful force (sakti) drawing you on through all your experiences. Trust in that huge power to take you on to your goal.
Ramana Maharshi, Talk 32
When you demand nothing of the world, nor of God, when you want nothing, seek nothing, expect nothing, then the supreme state will come to you uninvited and unexpected.
Nisargadatta Maharaj
Awaken, for you were never asleep! Awaken from the mortal dream. Let not another day go by where you react to people, places or things. Quit it! Stop it! Do not react to your own body, your own feelings. Quit it! Stop it! Understand who you really are.
Robert Adams
One should remain as a witness to whatever happens, adopting the attitude, 'Let whatever strange things that happens happen, let us see!' This should be one's practice. Nothing happens by accident in the divine scheme of things.
Ramana Maharshi
Each time a thought rears its head, crush it with enquiry. To crush out all thoughts at their source is called Vairagya (dispassion). Self-enquiry continues to be necessary until the Self is realized. What is required is continuous & uninterrupted remembrance of the Self.
Ramana
A realized one sends out waves of spiritual influence in his aura, which draw many people towards him. Yet, he may sit in a cave and maintain complete silence.
Ramana Maharshi
There are good souls, calm and magnanimous, who do good to others as does the spring, and who, having themselves crossed this dreadful ocean of birth and death, help others also to cross the same, without any motive whatsoever.

अनुव्रजाम्यहं नित्यं पूयेयेत्यङ्घ्रिरेणुभिः ॥
I always follow my devotees, thinking, ‘May I be purified by the dust of their feet.’
— Srimad bhagavatam (11.14.16)
