3 weeks ago i get a bill for 19 out if the blue with no explanation then 3 days later a chaser, finally got through to @HMRCgovuk to be told i have had two letters the next will be passing the outstanding charge to debt collectors #loancharge do they think money grows on trees
"The Loan Charge is retrospective legislation; in other words, it changes a legal position that was in place years ago. Without the chance for people caught by the change to retrospectively amend their actions, it breaks the basic rule of law in the UK."

@nomercyHMRC has anyone got a response from a SAR from HMRC ? I got a reply today and so high level and missing loads of data and incorrect data. It seems they force you to prove things by fines but it does not work the other way
The Government's war on the self-employed is a massive own goal for the Tory Party, points out @Telegraph
HMRC persecuting the self-employed through IR35 & in a myriad other ways is turning them off the Tories
But @UKLabour is probably too dozy and too pro-tax to take advantage
@wealthagent@thewestonator What is s684?
As they have said I worked for a company I have never heard of and suspect it is a way to share all my data. I have filed a SAR but I suspect they will drag their feet
@amazon you bang on about being customer centric what about the employees and delivery drivers (DD) Customer fail to make provision to accept their parcels then the DD get poor scores as the customer complain they have not received their parcel
