Financial distress is common in MS. Dr. Sadigh at Emory found that 56% had a decrease in income since diagnosis, and 35% skipped medication or recommended imaging tests for financial reasons. Have you ever avoided a medication or test for cost reasons? https://t.co/YgAHMMTOOb
It's supposed to be getting hot hot hot later this week!😎 Between 60% and 80% of people with MS say heat makes their symptoms worse. Keep cool this week with some great tips from the MS Trust https://t.co/tRv1ItYqXg

@SammiV4@voicesofms Our huge MS clinic in Colorado is advising us to postpone Ocrevus infusions for 2 months. The idea being that we'll be less vulnerable to the COVID19. I 100% do not want to do that, and hope to fight it. #MSsucks
I have advanced Multiple Sclerosis. I'm staying at home and no one is allowed to visit. This does me absolutely no good when my husband's plant refuses to close and he goes to work everyday around 100's of ppl.
Well, I was advised today by neurologist after working a busy 8 hour shift selling people their liquor (a must have I know 😑) I should probably not be working with the public because I’m on Ocrevus. So I’m probably not getting paid unless I can get sick leave pay indefinitely 😭
THIS! I get peeps that come up to me, find out and be like, "Oh, my (insert any person they met or know that has MS) has MS. I know what that's like!" This disease is so different from one person to the next. I'm not your aunt, cousin, friend, that has it. I am a diff person.
Me, a wheelchair user:”Can you move your car? I need the ramp.”
Driver:”I need to park here. There are no spaces. There’s a driveway down the street. Use that.”
An access ramp is not a parking space.
Ableism tests the patience of disabled people every day.
I just tried to type a response to someone's tweet using the hashtag #MSfatigue. But the voice typing system (which I am using because my neuropathy is bad today) entered it as: #MSButtCheek
It seems to intuitively understand how I feel about my multiple sclerosis fatigue.
