@pablo_israel_CK@TheHolyKau@NotionHQ Have you tried asking Notion AI - it does a good job of pointing out "how to" in my experience. Documentation is for agents to read now a days! :-)
The loudest story about AI is a lonely one. One person with an army of chatbots. Other humans are friction.
That gets the future wrong. The best things aren’t built alone.
In a moment of change, we want to remind the world (and ourselves) what Notion stands for:
— Think Together
@NotionHQ Dashboards are great! BUT... when you put them in a template they do not let you filter by "New Page" - e.g. want to put it in a Project Template and show some charts of its tasks. Cannot filter to my tasks.... can be done if one is adding a view on Tasks DB. @MFreihaendig
@zachtratar Can Custom Template for a meeting include instructions to update properties of the DB in which we store Meeting transcripts? E.g. Fill the Customer prop? Put summary in a prop? Judge the quality of the meeting and put in a prop? Or these have to be done through Custom Agent?
Notion’s Q3 was our finest yet. Growth is accelerating at scale. We used to sell software; now we sell work itself.
That’s a profound shift, and the numbers show it.
I ran 50+ demos this past quarter, refining our story for customers each time. I shared the latest version internally last week and thought: why not share it with all of you too?
It’s an 18-minute watch; feedback welcome!
@NixisWorld@NotionHQ@akothari Not sure. We do have a paid version. Maybe in the free AI plan one can use it till the free credits run out? When it initially wrote the formula it had some error, it saw the error, rethought and corrected itself! So, much more efficient than going out to chatgpt and cut/paste.
Notion AI Formula Writer is AMAAZZZINGGG... Thanks @NotionHQ@akothari We maintain OKRs in Notion and in the past viewing aggregate status (e.g. summarizing child OKRs) was hard as formulas were long and cumbersome and so no one did it. Now - just gotta ask AI!
@akothari@ednevsky@NotionHQ If that could be done fully within Notion that would be great. One can even imagine an "Analytics" view of a database where one or more such analysis is run periodically and results are presented in a dashboard. (3/)
@akothari@ednevsky@NotionHQ I ended up connecting Notion DB to Claude using recently released Notion MCP server and then used Claude to group the data per recipient of the feedback, to summarize it (resolving conflicts if any) and then generate an email with some suggested plan for the employee. (2/3)
@fractionalcmo_ Not clear what you are trying to do. But if two databases are related through a relation property then you should be able to bring information (fields values or aggregation) from one to another through either roll-up or formulas.
