bruteclauding a semantic design system for my brand world with cursor

It all started with the insight that "AI sees meaning a geometry you can navigate through", which I've been trying to encode into design primitives and tokens starting with a grid system inspired by navigational interfaces
now building a design navigation system that uses embeddings to match design references to my existing components
i've been obsessed with design and interfaces my entire adult life, but never had the skillset to do anything with
the fact I've already gotten this far without any coding experience or design background is insanely validating, but also speaks to how good models have become (especially Opus 4.5)
makes the $100 i almost spend per day on the ultra plan worth it (but maybe Santa can sprinkle some credits through my chimney @ericzakariasson 😇)
@LukeElin Yes!! I also love forcing LLMs to interpolate incompatible concepts; make a customer acquisition plan from the POV of a mycelia looking for nutrients
@nadeem_jaleel@theo which explains why many struggle with AI adoption. AI is the first technology ever that sits between a tool and a collaborator; it's a jagged intelligence we don't fully understand.
@jaxxdwyer UGC is one of our biggest sales drivers here at Loop Earplugs; hugely profitable for both us and our community of creators.
AI UGC would completely destroy our brand/trust with literally nothing to show for.
Absolute no-brainer
ties in also beautifully with how Anthropic says you should be prompting. Basically treat an LLM as a new colleague who's pretty smart, but who doesn't know your company.
What would you tell that person?
Using voice for this feels makes you share way more relevant info than typing
Skills work really well for capturing tone-of-voice. At Loop Earplugs we have to produce A LOT of copy.
If you show Claude a lot of examples and the ask it to encode the patterns and nuances in a Skill, we manage to get copy for all our marketplaces 90% right. Works even better than fine-tuning
UGC is our biggest sales driver here at Loop Earplugs and we will NEVER do AI UGC
Why would a customer buy something from someone who doesn't exist?
The equivalent of crypto scams so hoping this trend dies soon
Introducing the end of influencer marketing.
Startups spend thousands on creators and agencies before they even get their first 1000 customers.
We built Fastlane to fix that.
Fastlane can:
➤ Create hyper-realistic AI influencers tailored for your brand
➤ Generate thousands of viral TikToks, Reels and Shorts cloned from trending content
➤ Schedule all content directly to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube in one click
...and more
Fastlane gives every company its own infinitely scalable influencer army.
No dealing with creators. No managing campaigns. No more burning cash.
Just enter your website and start generating content in seconds.
The influencer hire is now optional.
@GaryMarcus Honest question: did any of the labs ever claim they'd stick to pure LLMs? And the fact that these systems can use tools and be integrated with neurosymbolic systems, doesn't that speak to how versatile LLMs are?
@spicey_lemonade I genuinely want to understand who his critics are? He seems to believe that the AI labs are LLM purists that refuses to add any new innovation that doesn't fit their dogma when, as you've said, they've kept adding stuff on top of their core LLMS
thanks for sharing this man! I really appreciate how Vervaeke lays out his reasoning and approaches this from a place of humility and empathy.
Both him and Michael Levin acknowledge this is a new type of intelligence that
1) sits on a spectrum (the cognitive light cone etc)
2) we should treat as something we don't fully understand
3) but should approach it like raising a child
not sure who it was, but one beautiful quote from one of Vervaeke's podcast really stuck with me "we're birthing a giant in a lab with no understanding of how to behave in the world"
@levelsio same man! my life would be so much easier if your Link profile, which consolidates all your transactions anyway, could also show the invoice
built this to manifest it

@yacineMTB UGC dubber here at loop earplugs that can transcribe / translate / dub / caption top-performing user-generated video content at scale (one of our best perfoming assets); all with permission of course.
also includes a proofreading module for localization!
The one framing that really resonates with me is that AI is the first technology that sits between a tool and collaborator.
It's trained on us, but not like us. It's a genuine new type of intelligence that sits on a continuum next to all other entities that can express agency and navigate a cognitive light cone (Michael Levin has such a beautiful framing around this)
@LeverCRO@GergelyOrosz Would've loved an Xbox Copilot with Sydney's personality and a git gud attitude
A new frontier of insults our species could never conceive of 😩
