If you can’t lift 5-6x per week AND play 3-4 games per week…
You aren’t ready for college baseball.
This is your reality at that level. If that is too much for you, join a frat.
Sadly, many parents wouldn’t agree. Reason….in HS, little Johnny has to compete for a position. In travel, you pay for one. That’s the difference and most parents will never admit that.
This happens to most young kids. Please dear god, if you’re a good dude just coaching these kids so they can play LL or whatever, we appreciate you, but leave the kids alone when it comes to swing mechanics.
Two players strike out looking.
One blames the umpire.
The other is upset because he missed a fastball earlier in the at-bat he should’ve driven.
One protects his ego.
One improves.
Which hitter are you?
“So basically, a bunch of dudes in St. Louis took their shirts off and started twirling them during a game. The team loved it, invited them back… and now shirtless guys are recreating it at baseball stadiums across America.”
Team chemistry isn’t a vibe, it’s the guy who texts the freshman or teammate to encourage him after a rough day at the park. That stuff alone can help your team win more games than you think. Be the glue.⚾️🤲
The “tarps off” crew made such an impression Friday night that #stlcards manager Oli Marmol bought a block of tickets for fans to fill the section the next two games. He even returned to social media for the first time in years.
Safe to say the Cardinals noticed the energy @SFAClubBsbl.
Here's my one-on-one with the manager⤵️

Physically weak players and their parents are usually frustrated and confused.
The ceiling for the physically weak with perfect mechanics is still below average.
Athleticism and strength solve a lot of problems.
A true FLASH sale!
Oli Marmol has bought out the remaining tickets in the Tarps Off section for both this afternoon's and tomorrow's games and made them available FREE to fans.

The St. Louis Cardinals, a supposedly rebuilding team, have come out of thin air to be the most surprising and entertaining “bad” team in the league and I can’t enough of it. Chaim saved the organization.
Some hitters need to be more angry and have some fire.
Some hitters need to be more relaxed and chill.
Not everyone has to be the same, but no matter what, everyone has to compete the best way they know how!

Want to be great?
You better have some damn urgency.
You better stop getting outworked.
You better learn to take the game personally.
You better start earning the right to play with confidence.
You better start to be a guy your teammates can count on.
You better be tough.
You better be resilient.
Competitive athletics are designed to be cruel, rude and nasty at times, and you have to earn everything you get.
Scouts don’t just watch your swing.
They watch how you react when the ump blows a call, when your pitcher hangs one, when your teammate boots a ball.
Your response in those 3-second moments is LOUD.
Stay even. Stay recruitable. 🧠
