Ok so they are going to save fuel regardless. Only way to fix this is 4 equal stages 47 laps and then have non competitive pit stops at the stage breaks. This would allow them to race on the track instead of pit road.

@kebzach Back in the day you would be correct. But today they run a spacer plate that supposedly only allows the motor to produce a certain hp. Now is that saying if the motor originally has more hp than another, will it with the spacer plate?
