It would also make the conference championship games mean more as losing it could knock you out vs how it is now where in a lot of cases it doesn’t even affect your ranking

However for a class like Chemistry with mostly pre med students, the averages absolutely need to be in the 60% range. Not everyone is smart or hard working enough to become a doctor.
