17,290 women have now completed our survey and told us about their horrendous outpatient hysteroscopy experiences. How many more women need to suffer before significant improvements are made?
Solidarity as always with courageous Rosie Duffield.
There can only be one reason for her name being included here and that reason is her championing of women’s sex-based rights. Yet she stands up for women, and we are grateful to her.

Rosie Duffield is on the list and is not Reform.
Is that why the BBC have restricted replies?
They don’t want to face the fact that this man targeted gender critical people.
Or justify the part that their own hostility to sex realists has had in fostering this environment.
This 👇🏼repays a full read. It catalogues how not only activist clinicians, but ALL of the systems paid to oversee them, from NHS whistleblowing processes, to the BMA to the GMC have failed these patients.
Bonus: note the potentially corrupt consultancy relationship.
Some of us are 60 year old female Equality lawyers. We understand when the latest “terminology” of activists on sex and gender is inconsistent with what the Equality Act actually says. Also the consequential effect that has on vulnerable women.
I will never forget hearing from some of the first responders who came to speak in Parliament. Chilling reports of the unbelievable evil carried out, especially to women's bodies, and the compassionate care taken by those tasked with identifying victims.
MPs always have mutiple conflicting committments, but my friend @KemiBadenoch and I stayed for the whole event. Incredibly difficult but necessary. #7October.
🚨🚨Robert Jenrick, Reform UK’s Shadow Chancellor, has been reported to the police and Prevent, the Government’s counter-extremism programme, over comments he made about Islam.
The Free Speech Union has warned that the Government’s Islamophobia definition would chill the ability of elected politicians and private citizens to criticise Islam. Ministers repeatedly assured us that the “anti-Muslim hostility” definition would not silence legitimate criticism of Islam, its history or its practices. Yet here we are. We have been proved repeatedly right.
The Islamic website 5Pillars reports that @RobertJenrick was reported after appearing on @danwootton’s Outspoken programme. The complainants asked police to assess whether his remarks could fall under legislation on stirring up religious hatred. They also asked Prevent to consider whether the framing of his comments fell within its definition of extreme right-wing ideology.
On the programme, Jenrick said: “Radical Islam is a threat to everything that we hold dear in this country. That it has to be fought and destroyed. It has to be eradicated from our country. And that we can’t allow the creeping Islamification of the United Kingdom.”
He also said: “Wearing the burka, Shari’ah courts, hate preachers. End every one of these as quickly as possible, then maybe we’ve got a fighting chance of saving our country from going down the same path as France has clearly gone down.”
People need to wake up to what is happening. @JohnCleese has been reported to Prevent over comments criticising Islam, while @RupertLowe10 has been reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards over his comments.
It is not extremist to criticise Islam. Blasphemy laws were abolished in this country in 2008. Yet the Government, police, activists and courts appear determined to impose one for Islam alone through the back door.
We must not let a de facto Islamic blasphemy law take root. Nor must we allow activists to weaponise Prevent to shut down criticism of Islam. Doing so would undermine the integrity of our counter-terrorism efforts.
The Free Speech Union stands with Robert Jenrick and his right to speak freely, both as a private citizen and as an elected politician.
The editor of @BBCWomansHour appeared on @BBCRadio4 to say that women over 60 need to have language explained to them which many might think sexist & ageist.
She says they "reflect the law", but it's "moving".
She's impartial, apparently.

@DarlingtonUnion@YvetteCooperMP when will you do your job, force the NHS to stop operating unlawful policies, and protect NHS staff and patients whose basic human rights to dignity, privacy and safety are being undermined?

Oxford is controversially planning to give men full access to several public toilets that women use.
This is the BBC's headline to that story.
The article only quotes trans activists; no counter-point is even offered and the law isn't properly explained.
Nice of the lads at @OxfordCity to provide lots of corroborating evidence for the inevitable discrimination claim against them.
Top tip for dimwitted local politicians - the law isn't a pick and mix at Woolies.

I wrote this shortly after the 7 October atrocities three years ago. I'm reposting it because it's vital to understand the hatred of women & sexual excitement at the heart of organisations like Hamas & ISIS.

Well, self-id isn't lawful, so if any women in Oxford face harassment or discrimination on account of this, there are funds available to help you sue the council.
@AKAsusangreen@MenAtWork_MC My undergraduate degree was in a related field in the 90s… females made up maybe 5-10% of those studying? Less in building services & surveying, marginally more in estate management.
Almost from the moment the COVID pandemic began, I started saying to anyone willing to listen: we need to know exactly where this came from and how the outbreak began. That should be our number-one journalistic aim.
And yet many of my BBC colleagues seemed more determined to parrot Chinese Communist Party denials that the coronavirus had come from a lab than Donald Trump’s assertion that it had. Why? They hated Trump and all he stood for. That’s it.
It was an egregious case of politics before professionalism from a supposedly impartial broadcaster.
There were some notable exceptions - former BBC correspondent John Sudworth, who was actually in China, for instance - but many of my colleagues in London appeared to have no interest in the cause. None. It was infuriating and baffling.
Instead, they became a mouthpiece for the government, focussing on how to “stop the spread” with lockdowns, mask mandates and other knee-jerk authoritarian measures. If anything, the BBC’s main aim seemed to be pressuring ministers to take ever more draconian measures. Some colleagues, who viewed themselves as “kind” liberals, were fiercely in favour of vaccine mandates.
To this day, there has not been anywhere near enough serious journalism by the BBC into the cause of COVID, which, in my view, almost certainly resulted from a lab leak and probably from gain-of-function experimentation.
So here we are, just waiting for the next pandemic to break out, with no meaningful international efforts to prevent it.
Instead of high-profile BBC investigations into how many laboratories around the world are carrying out dangerous experiments, what exactly they are doing, how well they are regulated and how easily something could go catastrophically wrong, we have gone back to business as usual.
There should be a real journalistic focus on this: a sustained attempt to put the risks in the public consciousness and to force governments, scientists and laboratories to explain exactly what safeguards are in place.
Instead, we wait.
We wait for another cock-up at a laboratory somewhere.
And then it will be back to lockdowns all over again.
Except next time, our compliance with “the rules” could be enforced by the army - because the next pandemic could be truly apocalyptic.
The @WomenOfCamden shocked me with this letter about the escalation of men’s violence against women in the borough.
It should shock ALL the candidates in the Holborn & St Pancras by-election. I haven’t heard them mention male violence against women as a priority.
