@KittenByKitten Buy means to play physical media. I have a VHS collection, the player tech is getting old, finding a working player is increasingly expensive. Buy a spare DVD/bluray player now, buy parts for them now while cheap. There's no point in buying physical media if you can't play it.

@DeltaMapleCake @risperidonachan @angy_13E @scolcer_ Steam needs to be running to play most of the games, you also need to have set it to offline mode before having no internet connection. The games that run without Steam are because the publisher/developer didn't want to include Steam as DRM in the release.

@Swurv__ It's good for gamers because it means there is competition. If every game is on every system then controls falls to the company that can sell the hardware the cheapest. They then get to control what is released and allowed in games.

@risperidonachan @DeltaMapleCake @angy_13E @scolcer_ First point is fair. You do need to to open Steam to play games (other launchers also have an offline mode). Plus Steam doesn't support 'ancient' PCs any longer.

@magniifcent People don't buy Lego to build any longer, they buy it as an investment. I own a Lego Darth Vader I won in a newspaper competition years ago and was quite stunned to find it's worth £400+ because I've left it in the packet...not even a box, just a plastic packet.

@SWT_Channel @SonySantaMonica It's like that throughout the entire game of ME2 though and in ME3, not just that one picture. I think they just did a poor job of modelling Yvonne Strahovski when it's quite clear they could do far better.

Compare that to how male Shepard was modelled and I think there's a world of difference. They even get the nick in his hair.

@Jeff_in_3D It's to save the environment. Why put a box in a box? Lego becomes a collectors item, I don't recall them ever being made that way.

@MavDoodles @DaveCullenShow I'm going to see it tomorrow, well today now technically since its 1am. MY only issue is that I don't see why Adam needed to be sent to Earth as a child. Questioning an aspect shown in the trailers doesn't mean I'm aiming to dislike it. 1/2

@MavDoodles @DaveCullenShow Calling the Netflix shows sequels to the 80s shows is a stretch. Why does Adam need to be on Earth at all in the new movie? Why can't it be set entirely on Eternia? If they needed something on Earth then a Queen Marlena flashback would have worked, since she's actually from Earth

@MavDoodles @DaveCullenShow The Netflix Revelation and Revolution He-Man series were an adaption but they were like a celebrity look-a-like, you know who they are meant to be but know they aren't. The new movie looks good but also changes things for the sake of change, who wants Adam on Earth?
