CLOSINGS AND DELAYS: Public schools in Stafford, Arlington, Prince William counties and Manassas Park City closed Monday ahead of forecasted winter weather. https://t.co/LHS3Psc9xw
For those who aren’t happy with their CBSE Class X and XII results, I want to tell them- one exam doesn’t define who you are. Each of you is blessed with numerous talents. Live life to the fullest. Never lose hope, always look ahead. You will do wonders!
@fcpsnews I'm still not sure how they will do social distancing with K-3 kids. The plan seems rather experimental for now. It's fine if other parents want their kids to be guinea pigs. I don't
@fcpsnews Decisions made today based on current COVID status will be different in Sept, Nov, Jan, etc. Why not build a flexible option based on changing times and data versus boxing everyone into choosing two very bad options (2/2)
@vpandya99@fcpsnews Completely agree - too many complexities and unknowns involved here. Completely understand students benefit from in person interaction but this is extenuating circumstances. Honestly not hearing a lot of confidence we can suddenly scale the system 200%
@fcpsnews What happened to safety first? Why not make an exception based in person sessions for special needs kids and not have everyone make a choice.. give priority to kids who most benefit from in person.. everyone else .. go virtual

@RedReilly11@fcpsnews They're trying differentiate between synchronous and asynchronous, terms that seemed to be confusing people. Choose in-person, virtual learning will be asynchronous-not live instruction. Choose all-virtual, learning will be four days of synchronous learning-live with a teacher.
@fcpsnews . If a confirmed case of COVID-19 is identified in a school (staff or student), our recommendation would be to close that particular school for 2-14 days, depending on the level of exposures
....
They are literally waiting for someone to actually get sick or die..
