@kentcclark @CityofVancouver 2/2 Then the city put a bike lane up on Beach Ave and restricted bikes on the seawall from roughly the base of Hornby St to Stanley Park.
Signs signs everywhere a sign! Over the last few weeks @VPDBikes has frequently patrolled areas on the seawall that are clearly marked ‘no bikes.’ Lots of tourists following the sidewalk signs that appear to make it ok. #nowtheyknow
@kentcclark @CityofVancouver 1/2 This is actually a bit of confusing signage. The green pedestrian and bicycle signs were originally put up to differentiate between walking and cycling paths. For safety, not social distancing.

Multiple people are in hospital with serious injuries, including an armed suspect who was shot by #VPD officers in the 900 block of Granville Street late last evening. More information will be released when it is available. There is no risk to public safety at this time.
