Year 4's trip to Nell Bank saw us be Enterprising Elephants!

Working as Collaborative Camels in teams, we carried supplies across the mountains, and solved the problems of transporting water and food.

We looked at other teams' designs, identified problems and adapted our dens to make them even better!

During our residential trip to Nell Bank Outdoor Learning Centre, we have been practising speed and accuracy, as well as building our resilience!

Year 4 have been focusing on their values, attitudes and attributes.

In science, they have been Enquiring Eagles and Collaborative Camels as they found out about the digestive system and created a poster for their display.

Last week, Year 4 went on an Antarctic expedition!

Inspired by Shackleton's journey we put up tents, camped out and entertained ourselves by reading books and singing songs.

Year 4 prepared for their expedition to Antarctica with Sir Earnest Shackleton, by practicing putting up tents ready for the mission!

Santa Claus came to visit Alder Tree Primary's Christmas fair and the children absolutely loved meeting him!
