@mhaithaca@ducson_nguyen I also allow (and suspect) that it wasn't his idea, but I don't know where it came from. Waiting for the local reporters to dig that up π
@ducson_nguyen@mhaithaca "[...], ideas should be challenged, and the people should be given a choice." ok but like - he did not do either of those things. What ideas is he challenging? Does he have a platform? Did he suggest running people against the other 2 incumbents who faced no opposition? π
@jduffyrice @LocalProgress You helped build Local Progress (of which I am a proud member)?? AND now you co-host WAD (of which I am a committed listener)? you're so cool.
I'm sorry for your loss. Ady did indescribably much good for the world. May his memory be a blessing.
@atgenevieve presumably hilarity ensues.
but also I think that the office will go to the highest vote-getter of all those willing and eligible to serve.
@jeniferrprince The *changed my life* ones in my formative years: Molly from Rubyfruit Jungle, and Maureen & Joanne from RENT. (guess I'm old now!)
@colarusso68 @AllegedButler Good point. Zach's presence (with constant filming) highlighted the absurdity of kicking out Voice reporters (and apparently WSKG reporters), but having all of them would have been better than having none of them.
