Can you suggest your best time saving skills/ tech/ methods? I'm not looking for 'tips' e.g. make a marking schedule or don't talk to people at work (!!), but rather things that can be learnt, used to save time, reused, impact whole classes. Please retweet! #ukedchat
@trainteachgrow @maternityCPD I was already at the school (FT) working with someone who also wanted a job share for an Assistant Head Role. It just worked out luckily.
Big step for our school yesterday- did away with formal observations, no longer linked to appraisals...replaced with purely developmental coaching! So excited for the outcomes!

@joreligioused Your worth or credibility will be judged by those you work with and support every day and those who are closest to you and know and love you IMHO! Lots who talk the talk but the reality may be different. Have a lovely day, live how you want to and have a nice cup of tea!
Hello EduTwitter, I come baring free, editable gifts.
A long while ago I made a SPAG Definitions Reference Guide for Teachers.
It took DAYS and DAYS to create, and I'm still not sure its perfect! But, I'm hoping someone out there will find it useful.

Please read this: itโs a brilliant new framework for what all teachers are entitled to be taught in the first years after teacher training and I am proud to have been involved in its creation https://t.co/WQ5WQxP8lP
@tes Matilda- I thought it was magic in every way
And I then suspected I was magic too...cue an 8 year old me staring for a LONG time at inanimate objects.
Really enjoyed delivering a Tempest/Macbeth active English workshop to @JohnColetSchool@PrincesRisbSch@AmershamSchool_ last week. A great group of teachers ready to explore different approaches to Shakespeare. As always, felt like we barely touched the surface! ๐
Been trying to simplify some of my knowledge organisers. Here are my efforts so far on An Inspector Calls and Macbeth >> https://t.co/eWmje4e3Gp #TeamEnglish
@NiallAlcock@LisaFarmer321 @Plant4Sue @Naomi_Hinton1@FKAEnglish@SiobhanKBishop @mads_hyland An acceptance that there are other ways to do the job; you and your job share are autonomous but linked. This had mean 'letting go' to a certain extent. Also, communicating far more! I used to just beaver away in my own little world but you just can't do that!
@LisaFarmer321@NiallAlcock @Plant4Sue @Naomi_Hinton1@FKAEnglish@SiobhanKBishop @mads_hyland We've been in our job share assistant headship since October and feel it's going very well. Different skills/mindset needed in order to effectively and truly share the role, including the acceptance that it is almost like a different job at the start of the week than at the end!
@teacherhead@MikeHaines20 Maybe they were hoping for a next generation of inactive and detached citizens, not interested and apathetic so the powers can definitely take over.
