made a cool extension for codex cli that displays some information about the current thread on discord via rpc. since i run codex in wsl (and discord in windows), i had to come up with a bridge system that allows it to still communicate.

you get a notification on your hud about the new lts release

you alternate winks to confirm and the world dulls

you feel a drone overhead and hold out your palm

you see a thin plate of etched silicon fall onto it

you slot it in under your right ear

everything is bright again
