@ID_AA_Carmack I use a Valve Index for hours everyday for sim racing. I have 2 Rifts, HTC Vive Pro, HP Reverb and they are all inferior. So much room for improvement on the high end. Willing to pay top dollar for excellence. Eff the low end crap, build the best of the best.
@LewisHamilton Very sorry for your loss Lewis. A dog is the greatest gift of love that God ever created for mankind. Roscoe is going to need some extra love now. ๐
Chris Harris Drives The Porsche Taycan Turbo S. Amidst Tesla's domination of the performance EV world, here's Porsche's answer - the Taycan Turbo S. With a back-thumping 761bhp and four-wheel drive it's definitely quick, but just how well does it do the twisty stuff?
@tom_forsyth @BailVR @medialab@oculus Tom, next time you are in Boston get in touch and I'll get you some time in my 3DOF racing simulator. It's no roller coaster ride. I've been in a bunch of motion rigs and I know what you are talking about but that's not my rig. Motion is fast and finely tuned. Not excessive.
@BailVR @tom_forsyth@medialab@oculus Using the HP Reverb as my go to headset at the moment. Cheap build, no IPD adjustment and horrible connector but the resolution is really quite good. Colors are a bit washed out. And I can get them! Looking forward to HP's new headset. All of the high end stuff is backordered.

Practicing for @pcasimracing this week at Road Atlanta. Fastest lap so far is in the mid 18's. I know the fast guys will be running in the 15's. To dream the impossible dream!
So much for that "sewing machine" whine! Some very good news here: Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster GTS models get naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat six https://t.co/2jOC4QIkSh
