@LarryMadowo My advise to you my brother is give up on your story-for-a-dollar story-telling and become a real journalist. You cannot bring down a country like Tanzania. Ask the former apartheid regime if you can, you will come to know who are Tanzanians. I hope it is not too late for you.
@LarryMadowo What exactly is alternate reality? Just your presentation is enough for the intelligence of Tanzania to arrive at what exactly had been going on to disturbilise not only Tanzania but all countries in Africa which were doing economically well. How come CNN now can see Tanzania??
@kwamekivaisi And the most important question is "where was CNN reporters during the preparation for elections"? Why were they not reporting on why the opposition for example were refusing to follow the law, participate in the election and present their case for the voters to decide?
@kato_lubu Now we know where the disorder is coming from and why. Tanzania, as a Frontline State, if Trump remembers, survived the apartheid regime and their financiers. What makes him think he can distabilise and then dictate to such a country. Donald J. Trump makes me pity Americans.
@MwangiHub What is wrong with a candidate people did not vote for the position in question congratulating the one people decided to vote for. The power belongs to the people, that is the maturity these literate Tanzanians are showing. And that is why 30+ million of them decided to vote.
@DukeOfSavannah Yes. Freedom of press and speech comes with responsibility. Misinformation, disinformation and disrespectful press is for Americans and not Africa. Leave it to the Americans unless you have joined them. If so join them in America then.
@amnesty Where are you when spies from USA are planning to distabilise countries in Africa? You come in when trouble has already started. Unless you are part of the https://t.co/qpbdmjK8hH. I remember the 1970s when West Africa was being put on fire. You were there just watching.
@C_NyaKundiH Freedom of speech and the press comes with responsibility and values. The American understanding of these concepts is not fit for African values. Leave them to the Americans unless you have joined them. But then move to USA. Think again, Tanzanians are very literate.
@magwaz3 Assuming you know better than the 30 million Tanzanians who defied the call to boycott the elections and went to the polls. Or you think these highly literate Tanzanians do not know where the disruption of the elections comes from. Think again, the era of lies in Africa is over.
@_James041 Tanzanians are highly politically aware and literate enough to understand what is behind the disruptions of elections. That is why more than 30 million of them were not afraid to go to the polls inspire the risks.
@KijanayaKabras Freedom of the press comes with responsibility and values. The American understanding of the concept is not the best, especially for African values. Leave it to the Americans unless you have joined them.
@dr_dash250 Leave misinformation and disinformation to the Americans unless you have joined them. First inspite of the planned disruption and refusal to sign protocol, more than 30 million Tanzanians defied the call and went to the polls. Second the situation in the country is not for pomp.
@LarryMadowo But with all respect he forgets or sidelines two things. First in this election the opposition refused to sign the election protocol. Second inspite of the planned disruption by some opposition parties to halt the election, more than 30 million Tanzanians went to the polls.
@KennedyWandera_ The previous elections were not interfered with by outsiders and the opposition had acted responsibly, that is why. Can the you inform the world also why some opposition parties refused to abide to the election protocol this time? And this is not unique to Tanzania and not new!
@NelsonHavi Remember freedom of speech comes with responsibility and not say whatever one wants to say. The American understanding of the freedom of the press is not for Africa where ubuntu values have to prevail.
