@neural_avb With super personalized AI generated resumes being used nowadays, resume screening can't be fixed. We need to move to a new form of application altogether. Also, LC-style assessments were never a great way to judge candidates. We were using it because no better solution existed.
To make sure our current users have an incredible experience and continued access to Astra, we are going to pause subscriptions to our $200 Pro plan. These put the most strain on our systems and we wanted to take the smallest step that allows us to continue giving the broadest access possible. All other plans and the api remain available.
There is no impact to existing accounts and we are working on adding more capacity as fast as we can. Thanks!
I think I’ve detected some sort of global versus India dynamic when it comes to rejection especially in competitions or pitches.
When an American is rejected they just move on to the next thing.
When an Indian is rejected for something they start to question their own self worth. Sometimes they don’t even enter events because of this fear.
99% of the time rejection with most things isn’t personal. Almost all success comes downstream of being rejected many times. The most successful people I know go “I didn’t make it. Tough luck, maybe today the better player won. Oh well, I’ll try again…”
If you are on $20 plan of OpenAI, just dont use astra. With the 5 hr limit it never completes any task. Would instead recommend plan out the task with astra, wait 5 hrs and implement with sol. @thsottiaux
Me: I totally understand how RL, inference time scaling, modern data-verification loops work.
Also Me: These models are total sorcery. There is no way that they should be able to do what they do.
