Inspired by our mothers, @Shemeena & I are offering a $500 grant to pay for an art course of their choosing to 10 women/femmes of color in Canada who are 35 years or older.

This year’s recipient of the VS. Arts Grant is Hollis Hunter, an emerging visual artist in Treaty 6 Territory, Amiskwaciwâskahikan. His window installation “FREE TRANS HEALTH CARE HERE ->” is part of upcoming @latitude_53 exhibition BLESSED ARE THE DIS-IDENTIFIERS opening June 8!
