I am not happy with the City of Johannesburg. Their billing system is programmed to calculate my consumption incorrectly. According to them, the system is kicking out my electricity readings (actual) and they use estimates, which are higher which then keeps my bill unmanageable

Electricity
Refuse removal …
have ABOVE inflation increases , some even double digit increases every year so they collect even more VAT on the increases
&
the price increases in utilities is a stealth tax in itself!!

They are fleecing us … & most of this goes to municipal & government salaries not to expand & maintain our infrastructure
