Congratulations to @vtHEVT on a very successful Year 3 of competition! ๐๐ฅณ This team is tasked with incorporating innovative ideas, solving complex engineering challenges, and applying the latest cutting-edge technologies to ultimately reduce energy consumption. ๐
Weโve had a busy past week! From May 18th-20th we participated in the Year 3 Competition and gave our 6 presentations on our teamโs work during Year 3 of the @EcoCARChallenge. We also were presented with the award for the Best Mid-Year Project Status Presentation!
We are less than two weeks away from the start of the Y3 Competition - May will be full of events so be sure to plan your schedule out in advance!

Did you know that MathWorks often hosts an EcoCAR Workshop? Workshops serve as a great way for students from all teams to learn more about their swimlanes, interact with other teams, work with competition sponsors and learn more about the variety of sponsors that EcoCAR has!
MIL testing is an integral part of our software development process that allows for comprehensive testing of our hybrid powertrain control code.

Our PCM subteam has just released the newest version of our vehicle model built using model-based design practices enabled by #MATLAB and #Simulink thanks to @MathWorks.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR! The @EcoCARChallenge Year 3 Competition will be held virtually May 18-20, 2021. We can't wait to present all of the hard work we have been doing this year!
#HEVT#AVTC#EcoCAR#VirginiaTech
#MATLAB and #Simulink are Model-Based Design programs that allow students in the @EcoCARChallenge to design algorithms, create simulations, deploy code and speed up software development for our projects. Next week we will show some of the ways that HEVT uses #MATLAB and #Simulink
