Bearing grease - 7,735 gallons
Hydraulic oil - 9,864 gallons
Transformer oil - 158,504 gallons
Gear oil - 4,095 gallons
Glycol coolants - 30,940 gallons
For SouthCoast Wind it's close to triple these numbers. Plus, two of the five offshore electrical platforms will be discharging between 9.6 million - 19.8 million gallons of chlorinated, heated (79.5 F - 83.3 F) water per day at an allowable pH of 6.5 (the average pH of the ocean is 8.1).
