Hey @BokehPlots and @HoloViews is there a way to set a default plot size for all plots in a notebook? I can set this for each plot type individually (see image), but I can't figure out how to do it for all of my plots. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Saw a comment that there's close to a 1% chance of dying from a car accident. Was shocked it's this high. Back-of-the-enveloped the math, and it pans out
HI @Qantas,
1. You lost my luggage over 48 hrs ago
2. You said you would call yesterday
3. I've now called you & been on hold for ~45 minutes
4. The waiting music is horrible
5. My blood is boiling
6. How do I speak to a human about this ASAP?!
7. Everybody else, please retweet.
@hugobowne@DataCamp Hi @hugobowne. Love the podcast, love @DataCamp, and I’d love (that’s a lot of love) to create something for y’all. Are you looking for full-time instructors only, or is it possible to teach just a course or two? If so, do you apply via the link, or just suggest a topic?
I just came across this paper on parametric vs nonparametric statistical procedures and it has to be the clearest writing I’ve ever seen on the subject. If you’ve ever struggled with what these terms mean, I recommend that you read this short paper now! https://t.co/w5qurpueFb
This is the #python#DataViz latest Barry that I am most excited about. I love R’s ggplot2 and so I’m looking forward to have a declarative library for visualization that shares many of its concepts. Anyone interested in learning about Altair should check out the linked intro. https://t.co/44KswNLNcE
New post: An Introduction to Altair. Join me on a journey to learn how to use @jakevdp 's exciting new python data vis package!

Hey @ProjectJupyter fans, checkout this short article I wrote on how to run #jupyterlab in Chrome without all of the toolbars, buttons, etc. (essentially, none of the “chrome”) to make it feel like more of a native app. https://t.co/rSSsIvQsdV
This was a really interesting talk by @DrJSomeday and I’m hoping to give this technique a try on my team at some point. Great stuff for anyone wanting to predict bugs with machine learning. https://t.co/5itzgjUrdO
A very nice machine learning application to predict how likely a piece of new code is to introduce a bug; based on an analysis of git commits and their metadata by @DrJSomeday https://t.co/MPQkGRRkCY via @YouTube@PyData
All the talks from #PyDataNYC are up—including my own “R for Pythonistas” (https://t.co/cRpt0zUm1m). It was a great conference, so go check ‘em out! https://t.co/tzQ0i1hg2T
I just donated to a @KQED because I love, love, love, love, love, love (really trying to make good use of the new Twitter character limit here) love, love, love, love, love @NPR and shows like @planetmoney and @UpFirst that keep me both entertained and informed. #WhyPublicRadio
Great site! Wish I’d seen this before my #PyDataNYC talk; I would’ve included this link as a resource for anyone who was turned off by #rstats in the past. https://t.co/3uafLH1sEN
@gelliottmorris To follow up on my last tweet, at one point in the #AlabamaSenateElection the NYTimes had Jones up even though Moore had more votes. I assume that’s due to weights assigned to precincts, but I’d love to see that assumption confirmed/discredited. Looking forward to the course!
