I thought I missed Tamra being on the #RHOC but her actions seem disingenuous. She’s coming off as intentionally stirring the pot just for dramas and to secure her spot on the show. @Andy can we reboot this too??
Colin and Ileisha both feeling chemistry but never acting on it or crossing any lines is completely different than Daisy and Gary secretly kissing, motor boating, and having full blown discussions about having feelings for each other. #BelowDeckSailing
Sensitivity is a gift. To still be able to feel is something to be celebrated. Being sentimental is a gift. To be moved over things most people don’t even notice, is a rare trait.
Over-explaining is a trauma response from walking on eggshells or dealing with emotionally reactive people at a young age. You don’t need court-level proof of why you are or are not doing something. Keep it short. You’re safe now.
Love isn’t blind.
Our idea of love is imprinted in our mind at bodies beginning at birth. We’re wired to seek people, situations, and dynamics that are most familiar to our childhood environment.
Love is a re-enactment.
Women are conditioned to be “good” girls and put everyone else’s comfort before their own. This behavior is reinforced when we call kids easy or mature for their age. Being rewarded for putting everyone else’s needs before our own sets us up to be chronic people pleasers. Then, we wake up at 30 and wonder why being a “good” girl feels so miserable.
