Det var det där med ekosystem som regeringen strök. Utan fungerande ekosystem, t ex genom en annan skogs- och havspolitik, finns inga chanser att vi klarar klimatmålen. På världsbasis tas ca hälften av all CO2 vi släpper ut upp av jordens ekosystem, än så länge. Nature rules, ok.

1 Golden Oriole just left an eucalyptus tree on the east side of Aspro Dam and made its way over to the west side. Lost it just at North tip of the forest. Might be worth a look if someone is close by - we're moving on. #cyprusbirds

Seems to have arrived both flycatchers and warblers over night. Plenty at Aspro Dam this morning and now at Bath of Afrodite as well. 2 Olivaceous singing just when passing the bath in eucalyptus trees.

A group of some 15 Alpine Swifts swooped down over Strovolos, Nicosia after the rain this afternoon, feeding just over the rooftops. Never seen them this central before. Also bee-eaters flying over each morning and now around 6pm. #cyprusbirds
