As we are nearing the dreaded multi announcement and as the misinformation is getting out of hand, we've decided to take further action. We need to show them that ignoring this boycott has real consequences. We plan to report Infold to the FTC.

We are consumers and Papergames is a company that infringed on our rights. They are not our loved ones for us to blindly trust them. They are a business and we are their customers.

You do NOT have to be based in the US to report a company to the FTC. Papergames also has a branch in Los Angeles.

Why you should do it
The FTC focuses on consumer protection and fair competition, keeping the issue centered on consumers' rights rather than sensitive geopolitical or political disputes. It allows violations to be addressed without seeking to smear/destroy the company itself.

-The Genshin Impact case: the FTC secured a $20 million fine and changes to the company's practices, but the game continued to thrive afterward

-It's a legal and civilized, safe route to protect our rights as consumers without destroying the company.

-It demonstrates we are serious about this issue could at least warrant a response, they also can potentially be fined which would add to the financial pressure we have been applying with our boycott.

What to include:
Screenshots or archives of the false advertising claims (the dates are very important), what was promised vs. delivered, any money you spent based on the Valko ads (within those 8 days he was announced), and the company's exact legal name: Infold Pte. Ltd. (Papergames' international brand, HQ Singapore)

I have attached a copy-paste template in the comment below. You can write your own if you wish.

Keep in mind, FTC doesn't resolve individual disputes but builds cases based on the complaints they feed into their broader database. So you shouldn't expect a personal follow-up on this, but it still matters a lot and contributes to enforcement action. Not to mention the symbolism of our stand against Papergames' poor treatment of its customers.
