Started by Sanskrit enthusiast Samashti Gubbi, the Kimbho Sanskrit Riders’ Club brings together bikers who ride, chat, play games, eat and explore — largely in Sanskrit.

And you don’t need to know the language to join. You just need the curiosity to learn.

The idea is refreshingly simple: don’t just preserve a language. Use it.

From Bengaluru to Nandi Hills, Skandagiri, Lepakshi and beyond, their rides turn every pit stop into a chance to speak Sanskrit. Even modern expressions are finding their way into the language — with “Kimbho?” being their version of “What’s up?”
