I move twice, change computers once, lose one job and get another, my mother dies, I wait for 4 months for "escrow," receive 5,000 dollars, get divorced, gain and lose 25 pounds, and then get the calm, impersonal rejection.

Cool Friday surprise that @BruiserLit found a home for “Derek’s Car.” My thanks to the readers and editors for publishing such cool and strange work. This story was my weird update to one of my fav kids books: King Bidgood's in the Bathtub
They wanted suffering they could frame. Clem called it merchandising. I called it access. People wanted to touch other people’s pain. Either way, the archive kept expanding.

Spent five hours at hospital for four appointments. Only one (giving blood to vital check) actually needed me in person. Anyway phone is ready to lose battery
