I'm weary of so many journalists, including many who should know better, referring to "dark" side of the moon instead of the "Far" side of the moon. We see the former every 28 days, and we never see the latter unless we fly around it. They can do better. #artemis2
@irbrodie ...appoints David Morrison of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Senior Diplomatic and International Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister and Personal Representative (Sherpa) of the Prime Minister for the G7 and G20 Summits, Privy Council Office,ย to hold office during pleasure...
Barometric pressure here bottomed out at 28.877 inches around 5am today as the center of the low pressure "bomb" was passing with this storm. Only up to 28.96 now and rising. #pestorm@StratfordPEI
Let me step back for just a moment during this epic hockey game, and renew my burning demand to @cbcsports to get Ron McLean and his stupid turns of phrase off your airwaves. Please. Thank you. #gocanadago
With all of the detached skate blades and broken sticks lately, I'm not sure if we're better off than we were in the 1980s with old fashioned Sherwood lumber and Bauer Tacks. #hockey
@JulieSDixon I suspect your PhD is not in law, because that would be an LLD, and also because you clearly have no clue about the LAW. Hope you lose everything. A small price to pay for utter idiocy.
After several minutes of "Coverage Will Resume" shots of Venice interspersed with commercials, @cbcgem finally came back to the hockey game and showed a replay package that...YES...extended past the faceoff for the 2nd period. Ace timing there, people. Enjoy Italy.
I strongly suspect @cbcsports took some of their NHL production crew to Italy for Olympic hockey. Seeing the usual dumb camera switches, missed faceoffs, and sudden non-contextual close-ups that have annoyed me for years. Well done.
@crsmtl@Post2PostShow I think I'm partial to 2022. Clean, less clutter, no italics - but I fear in 2026 they'll find a way to screw it up: disappearing the clock to show line combinations, useless statistics, etc.
@irbrodie Hard to plan travel for this one. High chance of scrubs and squawks...might have to stay for weeks to see it go up. I missed a few Shuttle launches for such reasons...but if you get to see it, amazing.
