🚨 RAGHAV CHADHA : "I demand a National Urban Decongestion Mission with a scientific parking policy" 😳
"In Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai, on average a commuter spends 100 to 168 hours a year stuck in traffic"
"We are not stuck in traffic. We are stuck because of it"
"Every hour lost is an hour we cannot get back"
One of my School Seniors who was very close to me scored extremely well. Got Electrical Engineering in IIT Kharagpur because he was from General Category, meanwhile his fellas who were from a Specific Category and not even half of his Calibre in Academics got CSE.
This senior desperately wanted to Study CSE but he didn’t get CSE. Seeing all these people half of his Calibre studying CSE scoring less marks than him really Antagonised him and devastated him.
When he had Completed his second year and he came during the Vacation he told me only one thing “The day I get a Degree I’ll move out and never return back.” The day he got his degree he never returned back. It’s been 10 Years he hasn’t returned. I happen to talk to him only on Video calls and WhatsApp calls. Him mom and Dad who have US VISA often visit him but he didn’t return.
It’s very easy to call IITs to pathways to escape India but you need to see the other side of the Picture as well.
When someone studies 17-18 Hours a Day from 9th to 12th Std (in those Days) going to Coaching Coming home and Studying for hours and hours and he desires to get something at that age between 16-18 and Despite giving his 100% he is rejected because of some Political Bias in the system you can’t make him understand this. You simply can’t make him understand about these Affirmative Actions that crushes merit and gives preference to Discriminative Justice.
There are many such cases I can list, in one of the case a Friend of mine studying MBBS from a Government Medical College was Hounded by Boys from a Specific Community so much that he thought of Committing Suicide.
#WATCH | Delhi: On Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind president Maulana Mahmood Madani's speech in Bhopal, Spiritual Leader Ishika Taneja says, "I'm not saying all Muslims come from that thought process. But I ask my Hindu daughters and sisters, what kind of religion is this where even an animal doesn't feel safe? They are slaughtered and killed. How can our daughters feel safe there? What kind of religion is this, where a boy can give triple talaq? ... They use love to mislead you, to trap you ... If they have the courage, they should truly explain their religion... Then if daughters choose that, then I have no problem... Around 8,500 women have returned to just one NGO. If we still think that there's no such thing as love jihad, we're deluding ourselves. We need to embrace this truth, and for all the youth to come together and actually address such issues..."
Ever wondered why the West constantly takes from Indian culture and acts like they invented it? Why your 5,000-year-old traditions get rebranded as Western discoveries?
In 1452, the Pope issued the Doctrine of Discovery which gave Christian nations permission to take ANYTHING from non-Christian people. Their land. Their gold. Their knowledge. Everything.
European nations used this for centuries as a moral justification for colonial exploitation.
According to this doctrine, if the West hadn't 'discovered' something, it didn't exist. Your Yogic practices that had been around for millennia only became 'real' when Western experts' studied it.
Your traditional fashion only mattered when Western designers featured it. Non-Christian knowledge systems were literally considered non-existent until claimed by the West.
Pranayama got rebranded as 'fire breathing.' Turmeric becane a ' superfood.' Indian textiles became 'exotic trends.' Ayurveda became 'alternative medicine.'
Something was considered valuable only when the West approved of it, rebranded it, and taught it back to you.
Western culture is STILL built on Christian supremacy and the belief that Western civilization is superior. The Doctrine of Discovery didn't disappear it evolved.
Today it lives in how Western institutions decide what's 'scientific' what's 'trendy' what's 'legitimate.' It's so deep in their worldview that most Westerners don't even realize they're doing it.
The Bible teaches that non-Christians are 'less than human.' That Christian nations have a divine right to rule & take. That Western civilization is God's chosen path.
This shaped how the West sees itself as the world's teacher and judge. Even secular Western institutions carry this DNA. They see themselves as the authority on what's real, what matters, and what's valuable.
That papal document is STILL unchallenged in international law. The psychological framework it created is STILL active.
When the west 'discovers' yoga or coins 'wellness trends' from Indian practices, they're following this 573-year-old document.
Western exceptionalism tells them that if THEY say it's valuable, it becones valuable. Even if they are not always doing it on purpose, the system rewards them for it.
Your culture was never theirs to take. Your traditions don't need Western stamps of approval. Your knowledge doesn't need their validation.
The Doctrine of Discovery tried to erase your knowledge system. But it survived. Your culture survived. Stop playing by their rules.
Your culture. Your narrative. Your credit. Reclaim it all.
Major cheat code for life: Be patient with yourself when you’re trying to become someone you’ve never been. You’ll feel lost, unsure, and tempted to quit. Don't. Change feels chaotic because your old self is fighting for survival. Expect it to be a battle. But also expect to win.
There are times where I have thought about this and here is what I feel-
Most people get so caught up in the grind that they forget why they started working in the first place.
We grow up believing success means a stable job, a home loan, and security for the next generation but somewhere along the way, we stop living for ourselves.
The tragedy isn’t in working hard, it’s in doing it without purpose, without joy, without curiosity, without self-connection.
Life isn’t meant to be a checklist of responsibilities. It’s meant to be experienced through growth, travel, creativity, fitness, love, and even stillness.
Providing for your family is noble, but so is providing happiness to your own soul.
The balance lies in living today while preparing for tomorrow not sacrificing one for the other.
Because one day, your kids won’t remember how much you earned; they’ll remember how alive you looked when you laughed, how passionately you spoke about your dreams, and how peaceful you were with yourself.
Maybe the real purpose isn’t to live for someone else but to live in a way that inspires them to do the same.
Cognitive load is important concept to use when predicting our ability to understand unknown codebase or unknown situation in general from logical perspective.

Wish I would have heard this earlier.
"But at $ENTERPRISE, urgency takes many forms. Part of learning the culture is being able to figure out when the urgency is real, when it isn't and when it's a mix of both."
