@sabeer That’s not true for all parents. We encourage them to participate in sports, music and whatever they are interested in. Straight A’s are preferred coz even the schools have that kind of expectation while kids are doing other sports. Some kids accomplish it.
I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.
This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war.
Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons.
I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late.
Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.
@LauraLoomer My son screamed on our 2 hour flight in USA when he was 2. Passengers expressed their anger in a way that we are bad parents and cannot control the kid. That was a heartbreaking experience and actually still affects me. Yes, we need a culture where kids can be kids..
I’m completely stranded at Moscow airport… alone, helpless, and running out of hope.
No one from @makemytripcare or @etihad is answering my desperate messages.
Russia doesn’t accept Visa or Mastercard anymore.
I have ZERO cash left. Not even for food or water.
The Etihad ground staff is avoiding me more than my ex ever did — literally turning their faces away and telling me “just call customer care”… which has been busy for hours. I’m standing here like a beggar in my own nightmare.
I don’t know how I’m going to get home. I’m scared. I feel abandoned by the very companies I trusted with my journey. My family is waiting and I can’t even tell them I’m safe.
Please… if anyone from Etihad, MakeMyTrip, or even the Indian embassy sees this — HELP ME.
And if you’re reading this, just one RT could save me. I’m begging.

@SuhagAShukla we should do more as powerful Indian community in USA. We lack basic idea of supporting people as we get so quiet on all subjects. I think that’s how India is as a country itself. Non- aligned in everything. So it’s in our genes
The brutal beheading of a hardworking Indian American immigrant in front of his wife & son is horrific. The murderer had multiple prior arrests for violent theft & child endangerment & was undocumented. He should not have been free on American streets. https://t.co/7LDNITCd9Y
Beheading of Indian man in Dallas sparks outrage
The murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah has sparked huge outrage on social media. The brutality and depravity of it has shocked people across the board.

@Djkeene1 They might have bought these houses after years of hard work, savings and trying to get their kids in best schools. What’s wrong in that? Indians are highest tax paying, law abiding citizens. If not for them, who will buy those houses and invest in USA?
@smitadeshmukh Most of the CEO’s are immigrants. USA is an immigrant nation and great because of that! Stop blaming USA for your inability to do something about it.
AJC is mystified, and deeply troubled, by the chorus of attacks on India by U.S. officials -- the latest being a White House advisor's scurrilous charge that Russia's brutal aggression against Ukraine is "Modi's war." We regret energy-hungry India's reliance on Russian oil -- but India isn't responsible for Putin's war crimes, is a sister democracy and an increasingly important strategic partner of the United States, and has a crucial role to play in Great Power competition. It's time to reset this vital relationship.

300,000 Indian students in the US inject $16.50 billion into the US education ecosystem every year. They are not a burden on America as Trump’s MAGA supporters say but contributors to the US economy. These stats need to be widely publicised by Indian-American forums
@MinhazMerchant@DainikBhaskar What have you done since this crisis hit India? You started tweeting on 1st of tariff accusing NRI of inaction. What actions have you taken as Indian to help your own government? Are you buying made in India goods? Are you trying to innovate?
@sanjeev__kapoor India don’t even allow dual citizenship but USA does. USA has given us best lifestyle we can ever ask for in return of education and hard work.
