I am delighted to announce that I have joined the Geoeconomics and Security Policy team at the German Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin. My first weeks in the new job have been full of new insights and I am really impressed by my new colleagues.

I am pleased to present my new working paper with @FeichengWang on the impact of foreign investment screening on the number and size of M&A transactions in OECD and EU countries from 2007 to 2022.
We hope that the findings may support policymakers in weighing the benefits of national security and the economic costs of introducing investment screening. Please check our @kielinstitute Working Paper for more details.
