As a man, I would have liked to participate in this discussion, but replies were turned off.
I suspect that Megg isn't really interested in getting an answer.
@KellyScaletta True. And walking into traffic doesn't mean cars have the right to run you down. But anyone who values their safety can make better, less risky choices.
@Blazeon_TV I have actually talked to a woman who retroactively claimed she was raped by an ex when she had sex with him after they broke up because she regretted it.
Regret is real, and it is not rape.
@zellieimani Women need to be socialized in such a way that they are emotionally strong enough to accept that their bad choices are their own and nobody else's.
@Tori_TLCR So, please define what is being denied. I understand and acknowledge the tragic legacy of residential schools, and I understand that the reports of unmarked graves in 2021 were a social panic. Is that denial?
A Michigan delegation travelled to Calgary to sell separatists on software developed for Republicans to get out the vote – and how it could be used to wrench Alberta from Confederation.
For David Parker, an organizer for Alberta separation, the software was the path to victory – one that ultimately resulted in a massive privacy breach involving the sensitive personal data of nearly three million Albertans.
But Parker’s embrace of the Michigan delegation is evidence of a pattern: separatist factions in Alberta eager to engage the U.S. in their plans for secession, and American actors willing to assist, either privately or openly.
Through interviews with The Globe on both sides of the border, people involved in politics, the corporate sector and Alberta’s pursuit of separatism have described persistent efforts by figures in the U.S. administration and conservative political establishment to support groups seeking American expansionism and independence for Alberta.

@shoe0nhead "No means no" and "Believe all women" would be great advice if women unambiguously meant "no" and always told the truth about their own responsibility in romantic encounters.
For some bizarre reason Peter Navarro, Howard Lutnick, Scott Bessent, J.D. Vance and President Trump think that constantly insulting Canada is going to result in us apologizing and agreeing to a deal that favors the U.S. They are delusional.
But it couldn’t be social contagion, folks. It’s just that young people, especially autistic, gay and mentally ill ones, are finally free to be their authentic selves.
The sudden explosion of young women who want to cut off their healthy breasts and take testosterone? Well, it’s absolutely not the newest form of self-harm, to which troubled adolescent girls are provably prone, ok? It’s not a consequence of the commonplace fear of becoming an adult woman, with all that that entails. No, there’s nothing to worry about there.
The possibility of regret? Naturally, we don’t let minors get tattoos or own guns or vote, because that would be ridiculous, but if they want irreversible surgeries and drug treatments, they must be given them, and everyone around them must immediately agree they are now the opposite sex. That’s called being kind.
And the mounting numbers of detransitioners? They were never trans, obviously, and should be mercilessly attacked, especially if they now say they were vulnerable and in a friendship group, online or off, dominated by trans identities, where transitioning was presented as a way to resolve all their social and emotional difficulties. (I have the emails).
No, there’s nothing whatsoever to see here. Keep justifying it, keep cheering it on, keep insisting that the doctors and drug companies making serious money out of it all are acting with the purest of motives. Answer every reasonable question with an accusation of hatred and bigotry. Dispel every qualm of conscience with an activist-approved talking point. Reassure yourself that everyone on your dinner party circuit agrees with you.
And when, in years to come, we’re all looking back on graphs like this, be proud that you did your bit to monster whistleblowers, parrot unevidenced claims and create the climate of fear that allowed the worst medical scandal in a century to take place.
JK Rowling could have used her platform to encourage millions of children to sterilise themselves but instead she just helped them to fall in love with reading. What a nasty Bigot.
women can never be held accountable for their actions. from murdering 3 children in cold blood to ketamine gangbangs. they are just helpless innocent babes in the woods, perpetual victims of the universe. the only crime they can truly commit is being attractive in a sports ad
