I am honoured to have been appointed the Regimental Adjutant for the Coldstream Guards. This Regiment has always been my family and how lucky I am to be able to come back. Simply the best in the world.

Very glad with the Company Inspection today. Impressive turnout and no bad order. Did better than No.1 as always. Looking forward to moving onto pre-deployment training. Good effort chaps.

6 Platoon mustered at Wellington Barracks this evening to take the first official photo of the Platoon for the year.

The photo marked the return of 6 Platoon to a ceremonial-oriented role after the couple of weeks spent conducting counterinsurgency operations in Cyprus.

Hard fought session during deployment in the gym. Very impressed by the strength of the platoon and slightly worried that I might be loosing my touch. Happy to see these lads are now even more prepared to fight out there.

6 Platoon have been hard at work, getting these operations done. Good effort from all of them. I am very grateful to have been awarded the Distinguished Service Order and would like to extend my congratulations to my Platoon Sergeant for being mentioned in dispatches.

A look back at this year has seen some great memories. The whole platoon is looking forward to Cyprus now as we round off our ceremonial duties. Pictured below was our final platoon drill event and final NCO meeting. I hope everyone has a great Christmas.
