The Wabash Trace is closed at the West Nishnabottna bridge south of Malvern between 330th St. and 350th St.

Signs are placed at both ends of this section. There will be a simple detour on gravel roads to the north on Marh Ave and 350th St. until repairs can be made.

The closure is due to a 1-vehicle wreck on the bridge. There is damage to the deck and railing, including a large section of missing railing. Repairs to the bridge are being evaluated.

The crash is currently under investigation, but the it seems the driver was very lucky.
