Volver a la victoria en #ElClásico es un gran reto y la mayor motivación.
Frente al PSG competimos, ante un gran rival y en un gran escenario, y sabemos el camino. Tenemos la confianza y tenemos el fútbol. Som-hi! 💪
I wish people would pay attention to how dramatically the game changed after Pedri came off. Even Rodri couldn’t handle Vitinha, Neves and Fabián alone, and Gavi couldn’t do half of what Pedri was doing.
He was practically running PSG’s entire midfield by himself. A true maestro who controlled everything on the pitch, dictated the tempo whenever he wanted, and found passing lanes in the tightest spaces to play through the press.
Even when we were trailing late in the first half, he produced a sensational assist to send Fermín through on goal, only for him to waste the chance with a poor finish. Once Pedri came off, we lost control of everything. The spaces opened up, Vitinha and Fabián had more freedom to push forward, and we ended up conceding 3 goals and losing the game. I’m convinced that if Pedri had stayed on, especially after we had just equalised, we would have had a huge chance of winning.
Players like Pedri can only be truly appreciated by people who genuinely understand football and recognise just how difficult what he does really is.
