Participants in the program define and develop their reciprocal mentoring relationship by setting their own goals, expectations, and activities over the academic year. Participants are encouraged to commit no more than 6 hours per semester on the mentoring project.
We are pleased to call for mentors and mentees in the Cross-Institutional Mentoring Project! To participate, simply complete this brief survey by August 24: https://t.co/FUWWj1XjCx
Because many graduate students interested in WAC do not have access to mentoring relationships or WAC coursework at their institutions, the Cross-Institutional Mentoring Project pairs graduate students interested in WAC/WID work with faculty mentors at a different institution.
Are you reading/writing this summerโexams, seminar papers, articles, prospectus, dissertation chapters, letters to elected officials? WAC-GO is looking to connect grad students and create support networks. All grad students are invited. If interested: https://t.co/xOgcxViakx
A reminder: AWAC Annual Business Meeting is tomorrow, June 9, from 3:30-5:00 pm EDT.

We'll break into committees and WAC-GO members will discuss updates! Hope to see you there!
As I said in my listserv announcement re: the symposium: Honor their stories, critiques, & recs - & the heart-work that went into each of them - by reading closely & considering what you can do to contribute to a more equitable field for our grad student colleagues.
