@chicagobars ILCC sent out an email. It pretty much said you can download an app on your iPhone (but not Android) to scan IDs or buy proprietary hardware, otherwise you're on your own. I'll be doing neither, tyvm.
@KHQA No reading for 9pm. My measurement area has drifted out. But it's been snowing heavily enough that I'm confident we're 10"+ at this point.
Most snow I've measured in Mt. Sterling since we got nearly 16" on 1/13/19. But hey, the storm's not over yet!

And we're off! Measuring snowfall in Mt. Sterling IL for today's storm. 1.5" at 9am.
We'll be measuring both 3-hour interval totals and overall accumulation as long as the blowing snow doesn't skew things too badly. See you on the other side! #ilwx
@KHQA 3-hour update in Mt. Sterling IL #ilwx
Had to grab my measurement at 5:30 because I had some errands to run. Also, my interval area is drifting so we're only going with overall totals from now on. Hard to say if drifting is affecting overall total as well π€·ββοΈ
5:30pm - 9" total
We're getting ready to launch our very first retail product! We exclusively use SLAP seasoning on our hand-cut fries, and very soon you'll be able to add it to your favorite dishes as well. Coming soon to an online store near you! βοΈβ₯οΈπ
Drinking a @CervezaModeloMX at an undisclosed location before skipping town. Wish we had more time. Good thing this train doesn't leave for a couple hours... @chicagobars
Setting up the new pool this weekend. Went to test our chemical levels with these @Clorox strips. Cracked the case and opened the jar to find nothing but the silicone packet inside...
@chicagobars I get that (former banker, current bar owner). But there's always private investment and individual wealth. Not everyone needs a bank to back a real estate purchase.
@chicagobars @blownafart @frankschicago I get it, many locations are individual units in a larger property. But there are plenty of single-unit spaces, even in the city.
@chicagobars @blownafart @frankschicago I'm still taken aback by the volume of well-established... establishments in the city that don't own their property. I'd say 80%+ of taverns and restaurants in rural downstate are operator-owned.
You'd think after 10, 20 years under lease, there'd be some equity available there?
