Huge thanks to Wade for having me as a guest speaker in his journalism class at Denfeld this morning!
It was fun to see high school students get excited about broadcast journalism, and beyond, having once been in their shoes as a high school newspaper sports reporter myself!

It was a nice first week for the @DuluthMarshall lacrosse team, going 2-0-1. First year as a JV @mshsl program. Here is the link to some photos:https://t.co/uqH7MBDNOc

Did the math, if I receive $10k in student loan forgiveness that department of ed. said I was eligible for, that could buy 385 bags of Purina kitty litter (17 lbs each) for my kids school. That is a need according to many conservative state lawmakers this past campaign season.
Daughter is finishing up first year @umd (in her third year with post secondary). She is the fourth generation of Petrich family women to attend the University of Minnesota system @UMNews. Very proud of her accomplishments! Earned an engineering internship this summer.
Not a big Selfie guy, but needed proof that I was out skiing in April. Thanks to @spiritmtduluth for letting avid skiers enjoy a 4th month of skiing so far in 2022. #springskiing https://t.co/LfDPH4k3Pb
So nice to be able to go around maskless and let everyone see my scruffy quarantine beard and sunny disposition once again! #quarantinelife https://t.co/LptfQtqA0D
For the first time in over a year I wore a suit and tie to work. It also was the first day back with students. Today I wore a different suit just to prove I had more than one that fits this old man!
Wife is out of town visiting family. Youngest calls her tonight to recap hockey game. She asks how much junk food has been consumed. I wanted to yell in protest, but was in a competition with the boys to see how many donut holes & 3D Doritos I could put in my mouth at one time.
