@smartereveryday The big thing I saw was the change from PC/Mac to Chromebooks. Nothing is local anymore - if the WiFi works, so does the 'software'.
Once Chromebooks came in, I don't remember many assignments where I had to go and find stuff on my own. It was all linked directly and in-browser.
@verge Alternatively, buy an EV from a company that doesn't place artificial limits on and obstruct the features allowed by the hardware you're paying for.
@verge The issue is that "good" is highly subjective. What a bot's audience thinks is good doesn't necessarily line up with what a reviewer thinks is good.
How are they going to determine which bot content is "good" and which isn't?
@hankgreen Either works, so long as it's understood what's being talked about.
I used to use dice as the singular and plural, but have heard die used as the singular far more often.
@elonmusk Why did you get rid of the toggle for algo/recent tweets.
I don't want to see algo shit, just what people in following have tweeted since I last opened the app.
@jonastyle_@elonmusk Yeah! He even builds all of the rockets by hand, personally! He doesn't employ thousands of genius engineers to do all of the hard stuff while he just throws money at the problem. He truly knows physics. He has two degrees in physics, after all.
WAIT...
@jabrils_ Nah, m8. But there are allegedly a lot of people quitting.
Musk wants employees to work twice as much each week, had them either sign a pledge by EOD next day or leave.
There are also reports that offices are closed up until Monday due to large volumes of quitters.
@elonmusk 1. Stop making vast, sweeping, and untested policy changes.
2. Make verification and other consumer-facing policies transparent
3. Allow engineers to be open
4. (This is for you, Elon) stop being a sensitive man baby who fires anyone who corrects you.
Someone has to say it: Elon Musk has lied for 27 years about his credentials. He does not have a BS in Physics, or any technical field. Did not get into a PhD program. Dropped out in 1995 & was illegal. Later, investors quietly arranged a diploma - but not in science. π§΅1/
@elonmusk Wow... DAU up by less than 1%.
How about you show us several years worth of data so that we can determine whether this is a seasonal thing or if you're to blame.
@SonySantaMonica can you guys add a setting for the puzzle hints? Having the companions telling me what to do 10 seconds after coming across a puzzle is frustrating.
@TwitterSupport Oh geez... If only there were, say, a method of verification that only applied to accounts and people vulnerable to impersonation? And maybe a little marker that could indicate whether or not an account actually belongs to said person/org? You know, like a checkmark? No?
