At @UTSA for Pick Up the Mic, a student read a poem celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk with such glee, then told me I was brave to be out here without my neck covered.
I told her I’d pray for her.
This is the climate. We pick up the mic anyway.
Noam Chomsky, the "Father of modern linguistics," looked at evidence of industrial-scale murder and decided the real problem was Western media bias.
By 1977, Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge had already killed roughly 1.7 million Cambodians through execution, forced starvation, and slave labor. Chomsky, writing with Edward Herman in "Distortions at Fourth Hand," treated survivor testimony and refugee accounts as State Department fabrications, preferring the far lower body counts published in sympathetic leftist sources.
The intellectual gymnastics required to reach that conclusion were extraordinary. Chomsky dismissed Father Ponchaud's firsthand reporting, questioned Francois Ponchaud's credibility directly, and leaned on a 1977 State Department document to suggest deaths numbered in the thousands, not hundreds of thousands. He applied maximum skepticism to anti-communist sources and near-zero skepticism to anything that cut against American foreign policy narratives. The methodology was selective to the point of being fraudulent.
Chomsky was not a fringe figure typing in a basement. He held an MIT professorship and commanded enormous intellectual authority among Western leftists. When he cast doubt on Cambodian atrocity reports, journalists and academics listened. Real people died while influential intellectuals debated whether their deaths were sufficiently well-sourced.
Collectivist ideology requires enemies to function. When the Khmer Rouge built their agrarian utopia by emptying Phnom Penh at gunpoint and executing anyone wearing glasses, Chomsky's instinct was to protect the ideological project by attacking the messengers. Ideology over corpses.
🚨DEAR GOD!!!
Police BEGGED a liberal prosecutor IN WRITING to keep an ILLEGAL ALIEN with 40+ charges locked up...
...he walked ANYWAY then 9 MONTHS later he st*bbed a 41-year-old woman to DE*TH at a bus stop in Virginia.
Meet Abdul Jalloh, 32.
A Sierra Leone national who DHS says was in this country ILLEGALLY.
DHS says he had been arrested MORE THAN 30 TIMES.
7News found MORE THAN 40 CHARGES in Fairfax County alone… ranging from R*PE to ASSAULT.
In almost EVERY SINGLE CASE, Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano's office DROPPED THEM.
2018: R@PE — DROPPED
2023: Malicious wounding — DROPPED
2024: Malicious wounding — DROPPED
2024: Steal property from a person — DROPPED
A Fairfax police bond alert said he had over 100 INVOLVEMENTS with the department.
In May 2025, Fairfax County police emailed Descano's office and BEGGED THEM TO KEEP HIM LOCKED UP.
He walked ANWAY.
POLICE WERE LITERALLY WARNING PROSECUTORS THAT THEY BELIEVED THIS MAN WAS GOING TO SERIOUSLY HURT SOMEONE AGAIN.
Just a few months later…
...on February 23, 2026, Stephanie Minter stepped off a bus on Richmond Highway.
Police say Jalloh stepped off that same bus with her.
She was found in the bus shelter with multiple st*b wounds to her upper body.
She passed away right there.
Fairfax County's own POLICE CHIEF, Kevin Davis, says her m*rder was "entirely preventable."
And it wasn't just the county.
ICE says it held Jalloh for 702 days back in 2018… then had to release him after a judge ruled he couldn't be sent back to Sierra Leone.
EVERY LEVEL had a shot at this man.
Now Cheryl Minter, Stephanie's mom, has filed a RECALL PETITION AGAINST THE PROSECUTOR!!!!!
She says she found out AFTER burying her daughter that police had been warning this office about him for months.
Her petition reads: "Thirty times the system had a chance to stop him, and then let him go."
WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!
wild ruling out of Seattle that @PHLCouncil needs to read. a builder put $39M into 254 low-income apartments locked at 60% AMI for 30 years. from 2015 to 2018 it worked, collecting ~94% of rent.
then Seattle stacked on "tenant protections": banned criminal background checks, banned winter evictions, required 180 days notice for rent hikes + 3 months relocation pay, and forced the owner to let unscreened roommates move in and take over leases.
result: rent collections dropped from 93.9% to 44.1%!!! the building lost nearly $6M through 2023 ($2.7M in 2023 alone) and is now appraised as functionally worthless. the city bankrupted actual affordable housing lol.
the appeals court just ruled the owner can sue Seattle for an unconstitutional taking. when you strip a landlord's right to screen, collect rent or remove non-paying tenants, it's not "regulation" anymore, you took the building…. Philly has half these laws already 🙄 https://t.co/avs4IKiIMw
THIS is how you run an ad. 🔥
Every Republican should be running ads like this.
Blakeman just turned Hochul's whole record into a comedy sketch, and it's going to leave a mark.😂
This is eye-opening. Europe’s share of global tech R&D has collapsed from 23% in 2005 to just 8% today, while the US has climbed to 62% and China has risen from near zero to 15%. South Korea now outspends Germany, France, the UK, and Italy combined in tech R&D. Yep, you read that right.
This is the predictable result of policy choices that systematically favor control and redistribution over growth. Layered regulation, data rules, AI restrictions, labor rigidities, and precautionary frameworks, raises the cost and slows the pace of turning ideas into products, forcing companies to spend scarce resources on compliance rather than experimentation. High taxation and expansive redistributive systems extract capital that would otherwise fund private R&D and risk-taking, while shrinking the after-tax reward for building something new and scaling it. The broader left-leaning mindset that prioritizes equality of outcome over dynamism treats entrepreneurial success as something to be managed, taxed, or shared rather than unleashed and rewarded.
Places that protect the returns to innovation and keep barriers low continue to pull ahead, attracting talent and capital that Europe increasingly loses. Europe’s relative decline is the cumulative outcome of treating dynamism as a problem to be regulated rather than the engine of prosperity. Without a shift toward lighter rules, lower burdens on enterprise, and greater tolerance for unequal outcomes from unequal effort, the gap will keep widening, and Europe will become an open-air museum for wealthy Americans and Asians.
People who believe that a solution to life's problems is giving more tax money to the government are people who actually haven't dealt with real problems.
Small example: we had to get Starlink for our property and our vehicles because after government burned down all of the Palisades and Malibu, the utility infrastructure is still so bad, you end up with complete dead zones everywhere; I couldn't manage running a campaign like that. Because one industrialist built a rocket company years ago, we now have an option to directly bypass everyone else's failings while government spends the next 3 decades rebuilding.
All of my savvy neighbors who are rebuilding are investing in fire-defense sprinkler systems on their properties, aggressively managing the vegetation around their homes...they've learned that no matter how much you pay the government, they will not be there when you need them most, their incompetence will likely be the source of the emergency in the first place, and the best thing you can do is insulate yourself from their failures. They won't be there when the fire hits you backyard, they won't be there when the homeless drug zombie stabs you in the neck, but they certainly will be there if the IRS doesn't get their check.
Every smart person who has endured hardship in this country is hellbent on becoming more self-reliant, independent, and off the grid. We call that a clue.
Capitalism didn't create your need to work to survive. Nature did.
An employer doesn't impose that necessity upon you. He offers you an opportunity to satisfy it through voluntary exchange.
Socialism doesn't eliminate the necessity of work. It merely transfers authority over production to politicians or the collective.
Under capitalism, you're free to change employers, negotiate wages, work for yourself, or establish a cooperative. None guarantees success, but the freedom exists.
And here's where your moral superiority becomes particularly ridiculous.
You condemn people for offering employment on terms others are free to reject, yet consider yourself morally entitled to dictate how they must use their property, run their businesses, and compensate others.
You call voluntary agreements exploitation while presenting coercion as compassion.
Your objection isn't that people are being forced to serve others. It's that they aren't being forced to serve others on your terms.
And somehow, you've convinced yourself that makes you the moral one.
ActBlue has some EXPLAINING to do.
An 88-year-old widow in Milan, Michigan lives in a trailer after losing her house to a fire. No power. No water. No INTERNET.
Federal records tie her name to 562 ActBlue transactions in just six weeks. Nearly $4,500.
Four of them posted the same day reporter Charlie LeDuff visited, when they tried to make a donation together and couldn't even get online.
One was $51 to Abdul El-Sayed, Michigan's Dem Senate nominee.
Back in July, filings tied her name to 14,696 donations over five years. About EIGHT a day.
And ActBlue's CEO Regina Wallace-Jones? She took the Fifth before Congress.
Who is really behind these donations?

🚨BREAKING: California Democrat who claimed ICE Agents kidnapped his missing wife was just arrested and charged with her murder after her burned remains were just located.
I strongly disagree with urging Chairman Xi to execute anyone!
Reposting this, as it contains a lot of fascinating information, none of which I can independently verify. If this checks out, one more colossal failure for centralized economic planning. NOTHING learned from history!
🚨 Lancaster County, PA: Illegal alien Junior Jose Davila-Moran has been charged with attempting to kidnap an Amish woman while she was weed whacking her yard.
He is said to have tapped on her shoulder while holding a knife and handcuffs, demanding she put the cuffs on. She reportedly chased him from the yard while revving her weed whacker and screaming.
Davila-Moran was arrested in New Jersey at his residence.
An ICE spokesman told the @LancasterOnline, "In January 2018, Border Patrol arrested Davila-Moran in Donna, Texas after he illegally entered the country. He was transferred to Office of Refugee Resettlement custody due to being a juvenile".
@KristinnFR@Cernovich Thank you for standing up and telling the truth that needs to be told, Kristinn!
I don't see Pres. Trump getting any credit whatever in the mainstream media for his amazing achievements that are very positive for America.
@Cernovich And yet President Trump has delivered for those young men: 3 million illegal aliens out of the country and border secured. Rents going down, jobs opening up. Taxes cuts, crime down, drug overdoses down, manufacturing and construction jobs returning, DEI eliminated...
