@elonmusk wow. The last four weeks have been disruptive which is not terrible but agreeing with the dictator stuff is too much for you. What isn't too much? Or what is enough for you?
Given some so called patriots want a French healthcare system, let’s take a look at it.
🧵
Summary: social insurance with 95% of people taking private healthcare to cover copays. Costs £40bn per year more. Less equitable than NHS, but can turn a profit

It’s telling that Greg Hands can make fighting personal grievances a priority whilst avoiding important questions from Jolyon Maugham about his conduct over PPE contracts.
However, due to the corruption and negligence of his government, what is the reality faced by people in Britain?
Well…
Recently a terror suspect escaped prison, most prisons face inhumane overcrowding issues plus issues with underfunding and understaffing. Reoffending rates are sky high.
Almost every part of the public sector is striking due to poor pay and conditions.
School and hospital roofs are caving in because Sunak refused to adequately fund rebuilding projects despite a "critical risk to life”.
Hate crimes are on the rise, the justice system is in tatters with excessive wait times, courts are also crumbling.
The police force is full of criminals and was found to be institutionally racist, homophobic and misogynistic. Yet Braverman blames wokeness. Why? To deflect from them letting all of this happen on their watch.
NHS waiting lists have hit over 7 million. 14 million plus live in poverty, food bank use is at a record high. People are losing their homes because the Tories tanked the economy with their disastrous mini budget sending mortgage rates sky high.
Our seas and rivers are polluted with shit, and people are getting sick.
People are waiting three years for mental health support. Vital suicide prevention services and addiction support services have been deliberately cut.
The immigration system is inhumane and broken and the government have tried to implement illegal practices.
That’s just off the top of my head.
But, as a Tory MP, fighting personal grievances is Greg’s number one priority.
It tells you all that you need to know about both him, and the attitude of the government, towards the people of Britain.
Too many Tory MPs prioritise pretending to be presenters on shadily funded independent TV networks than their constituents or fixing the myriad issues that they have caused.
They desperately scrabble try to blame a Labour government that’s not been in power for 13 years to avoid responsibility at all costs, whilst lying to the public.
They’re not patriots, they’re cunts.
138 days ago I began my attempt to become the first person ever to run the entire length of Africa.
Here is a list of some of the problems I’ve had to overcome to get to this point (I’m not even halfway):
• Day 1- Started the mission with less than 10% funding
• Day 5- Support van breakdown
• Day 14- Attempted robbery
• Day 17- Support van couldn’t cross the border. Solo into the desert
• Day 26- Food poisoning (multiple days)
• Day 35- Another attempted robbery
• Day 42- Started pissing blood (lasted 6 days)
• Day 64- Got robbed at gunpoint (passports, cameras, phones, money got taken)
• Day 74- Visas issues (had to travel 2000km backwards & pay a load of bribes to get it sorted)
• Day 89- Leg injury
• Day 103- Got stuck in a rural Congo village. Thought I was going to die.
• Day 107- Van needed fixing (10 days)
• Day 112- Restructure of the support team. Made 2 new hires.
• Day 120- Arranged purchase of new support vehicle
• Day 128- Foot injury
• Day 136- Support van crashed. Potentially a write off.
Throw in running daily ultra marathons and it has been quite the party out here so far. The message stays the same as always.
WE KEEP MOVING FORWARD. TILL THE END🫡
Hi @sonwatson
I know and work with both Julie and Lewis.
I was in the cinema with my 8 and 12 year old on Sunday. One of the pre film advertisements was for William Hill Casino.
The film was 12A rated
This can't be acceptable.
