no matter how luxury the apartment is, they will always follow the main typical plan ESPECIALLY if the apartment has over 200 units w 49 storey

unless if hc uses natural solid wood and not laminated/LVP mass produced materials, then only can the wood finishings be unique

civil eng here; it doesnt make sense too for every finishings to be unique as they are often mass produced and bought in bulk

imagine if each unit has to use diff materials, the BQ will be a mess and its harder to do QAQC checking

every department in the company will die lol

architect here, hello. what people need to know is that high-rises and the likes are generally designed with approximately 2-4 (depends on the client) room layouts based on its tier. it consists of different room sizes and floor plan layouts but the materials, finishes, and fixtures follows a specific standard. It is done like this so we don't have to draw a shit ton of plans and details for each room!! we just do typical floor plan drawings, typical door details, typical toilet & bath details, and etc.

so if one unit uses a high-pressure laminate door in textured oak wood finish, THEN ALL THE ROOMS HAVE THE SAME FREAKIN DOOR FINISH. and if one unit uses a 12mm thk solid surface countertop in beige marble finish, THEN ALL THE VANITY SINKS IN THAT BUILDING HAVE THE SAME FREAKIN SINK AND COUNTERTOP.
