UPDATE | Hi everyone, I want to thank all of you who have contributed towards Tonderai Mauchaza’s cause. So far, we have received a total of US$690, with most of the donations coming from our followers on X. We are truly grateful for your kindness and support.

However, we are still short of our target of US$2,000, which is needed for Tonderai’s medical treatment. Tonderai recently recorded a short video asking for help to reach this goal. We added the video in the comments section. We had to edit the video slightly as some parts were too graph!c. Those who wish to view the unedited photos of Tonderai can visit his sister’s Facebook page under the name Talent Mauchaza.

Tonderai Mauchaza is a 16-year-old boy suffering from a rare and painful condition called Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), a disorder that makes him extremely sensitive to sunlight and causes tumors to develop on his face and head. He urgently needs:

- Blood laboratory tests
- A CT scan and X-ray
- Surgery to remove the tumors

Tonderai lives under very difficult conditions. He is cared for by my grandmother, who is not working. His sister, Talent Mauchaza, tries to support him through small piece jobs, but the money she earns is barely enough for food and other basic needs, making it hard to afford his medical costs.

We are appealing to the public, friends, and well-wishers to help Tonderai get the treatment he desperately needs.

Any amount you can give will make a big difference. Let’s come together to give this young boy hope and a chance to live a healthier, happier life.
